Anglo-German Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) diagnostics partnering event
The 4th AMR Conference has been confirmed as a digital event during the week of 24–28 August 2020. The AMR Conference Week will cover the challenges of bringing new antimicrobial treatments and diagnostics into the market and help to establish a post-COVID policy roadmap on AMR. The programme is now available and consists mainly of afternoon sessions with 24 hour partnering opportunities online.

Complementary to the AMR Conference we are organising an ongoing VIRTUAL PARTNERING EVENT from 1 July until 30 October 2020 so that British and German companies can discuss partnering opportunities.
The partnering event brings together AMR companies from the UK and Germany. This is a unique opportunity to generate new business and R&D contacts and potential partnering contracts. Meetings will take place at a specific communicated time and will be arranged in advance using this website.

This event promises to generate knowledge transfer and opportunity for new business and R&D collaborations between German companies/research institutes and British AMR delegation of small and medium size companies.
The long-term plan is to organise a physical visit to Germany at the beginning of 2021, which consists of an INNOVATION MISSION to:
- Jena at InfectoGnostics research campus and
- Potsdam at Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI.
The UK innovation mission is funded by Innovate UK which is part of UK Research and Innovation, a non-departmental public body funded by the UK government and organised by the Enterprise Europe Network.
